Flower Description
Black-eyed Susans can be hard to differentiate from Orange Coneflowers, Thin-leafed Coneflowers and Showy Coneflowers
The standard Blackeyed Susan has a hairy stem and downy plain leaves. The Showy and Thin-leafed and Orange coneflowers have shinier and more toothed leaves. Any can have the orange tone to the center near the disk. All disks are brown or purple.
